XbigX (formerly known as X-BIG-X) maps arbitrary large virtual display areas — so-called meta screens — on one or more real screens of an X Window server. The dimensions of the screens do not matter. Screens may overlap or leave gaps. The visible areas may be arbitrarily positioned on the virtual area by moving the mouse pointer. Read more … Download & try |

| XmetaX (formerly known as X-META-X) maps arbitrary large virtual display areas — so-called meta screens — on one or more real screens of one or multiple X Window servers or even on X11 windows. The dimensions of the screens do not matter. Screens may overlap or leave gaps. The visible areas may be arbitrarily positioned on the virtual area by moving the mouse pointer. This base functionality can be enhanced by options, each implementing a certain functionality like zooming, rotating, beaming or recording an X Window session or even providing a failsafe X Window server. | XposeXkiosk (formerly known as X-POSE-X-KIOSK) generates a kiosk containing Pose recorded files on a storage medium (CD, DVD). The kiosk can be excecuted totally autonomous on arbitrary PC hardware, from a sub notebook to a set of networked high performance workstations. Disks and configurations of the PCs are never touched. Simple usage and automatic configuration enable even less experienced users to natively play-back Pose files, without cumbersome video conversion. Read more about this work in progress … | ![]() |
| XcontrolX (formerly known as X-CONTROL-X) receives all input events from an X Window server, the master, and may send the events to one of several other X Window servers or Microsoft® Windows® systems, the slaves. Unless configured otherwise, at any time there is only one mouse pointer visible, the position of which determines the target of the input events. The mouse pointer is warped onto one of the other screens by touching the screen border or by pressing a specified hot key combination or by using the graphical user interface. In addition to remote input XcontrolX allows to display a telepointer without input capability on a remote screen. A telepointer user may gain input control by a simple mouse click. Consequently one X Window server can simultaneously display the telepointers of multiple XcontrolX processes but grants input control to not more than one user. Concurrent access to the X Window server is ruled by priorities, for telepointers and for input individually. Cut&paste data is transferred between all screens. Read more … Download & try |
