Downloading

You may download the software from the X-Software Internet server, at the folowing URL:

Should your download manager remove the file extension without actually uncompressing the installation file, rename the file using one of the following commands:

mv installation_file installation_file.Z
mv installation_file installation_file.gz
mv installation_file installation_file.bz2
mv installation_file installation_file.7z

Go to the /tmp directory of your computer and uncompress the compressed installation file using one of the following commands:

uncompress installation_file.Z
gunzip installation_file.gz
bunzip2 installation_file.bz2
7z e installation_file.7z

For continuous use of the software you also need the separate product Xlicense, which is free of charge.
