7.1   Operation

The option SECURE allows to protect the communication between the X-META-X or X-POSE-X-RECORD proxy and the recording or displaying program xposextool by an efficient encryption.

7.2   Configuration

The option is activated by the license key (3 Licensing) and does not need to be switched on or off.

7.2.1   Recording

7.2.1.1   Encryption

The sub-statement

    encryptedTransmission {on|off} 

switches the encryption on or off (default).

If possible, the key of the 128 bit encryption is calculated from the X Window authorization, otherwise a secret fixed key is used.
